【Limited】Sghr REWORK duo Sensu

A collaboration between the highly acclaimed handmade glass manufacturer "Sghr Sugahara" and the Japan Sumo Association, exclusively available on SuMALL.

This product features the "Duo," one of Sugahara's signature pieces, which is characterized by its sleek form and two layers of color applied using techniques unique to skilled artisans. It is adorned with a fan design, a motif deeply associated with sumo.

These glasses, with their refreshing design that easily fits into everyday life and the warmth of handmade craftsmanship, are perfect for gift-giving occasions such as housewarmings and weddings.

[Sghr Sugahara]
Established in 1932, Sghr has always been committed to handmade glass production. In the 1970s, they began in-house development and sales. They have created over 4000 types of products, and artisans work diligently every day, honing their skills. ◇Sghr Rework
Glass is made from natural sand. Various changes inherent to natural materials can appear in glass.
Undissolved substances can leave streak-like marks in the glass. Air bubbles formed during the melting process may also remain.
Even products that cannot be sold as regular items due to such delicate reasons are crafted with care and dedication.
The "Sghr Rework" project repurposes these items. They shine with new expressions in your hands.

◇About Quality
・As these are handmade products, please allow for slight variations in size and capacity.
・Due to the nature of glass, which primarily uses natural sand as its raw material, small bubbles and striae (streaks) may appear in the product. Please understand this as an inherent characteristic of natural materials.

◇Not for use with hot beverages
・This is not heat-resistant glass.
　Sudden temperature changes can cause it to break.
　It is dangerous to heat it directly over a flame, in a microwave, or in an oven, so please avoid these methods.
　Also, do not pour cold liquids into hot glass or place it on a wet surface.

◇Care Instructions
◎ Wash with neutral detergent before first use. Wash similarly after use. Do not use abrasive sponges, metal scrubbers, or cleansers that could scratch the glass. This can lead to breakage and deterioration of strength.
◎ Exercise extreme caution when washing the inside of the glass. Twisting and washing with force from the inside can cause breakage and unexpected injury. We recommend using a sponge with a handle.
◎ Scratches make the glass more prone to breakage. Handle carefully to avoid bumping against other glass items or hard objects.
◎ Please refrain from using a dishwasher.
If your dishwasher has a temperature setting, you can use it by setting the washing temperature to around 60°C. Please be very careful to prevent the glass from falling due to water pressure or bumping against other glass items.
※Cloudiness may appear on the glass. Please wash using the method described above. If the cloudiness is difficult to remove, never scrub vigorously, and use citric acid or similar.
